I hope you like my work :)

I made this image as a IT project for my school homework. My Dad helped with the textures, which are mostly line relected gradient with a black strip set to overlay blend mode for the transistors. Maze render for the circuit and the small dots are line reflected bits made smaller. I also used drop shadow under every bit.
This took me about 14 hours :ouch:

Like I said to Welshy, your work looks like the real piece, and I am already impressed with what you can do with PDN. Once again, welcome aboard!

thank you an-evil-guy, theonlychad and Lance Mcknight :D

my Dad has taught me to treat every picture like a jig-saw and an onion :?
to think that everything has a place where each piece goes and that every layer is like a skin that builds up to the final thing.

thank you all again. This is is how I made the ram

Your dad is a wise man. An onion is useful because when you peel back each layers, you get to the core, and that's if you can stand the stinging watery eyes as you blubber your way to peel the onion.

I must say every electronic components look like the real thing, the capacitors, the resistors, and the fuses all look spot on. That was a brilliant use of the Maze plugins for the circuit pathway.

Wow. I'm in awe. :shock2: I always say this to Welshblue's work. I absolutely love how you think. The way you put the image together is outstanding. The textures are astonishing! Nice to have you here. :!2:

Wow, I see you have inherited some of your dad's talent. As others have said, that looks like the real thing and at first I thought it was. I expect to see some great things from you. (Not that that's a challenge or anything. ;) )

Actually, this is her gallery (I think). She has a meet and greet already. Look under "new posts."

Let's not forget that she can draw, and Welshy can't, as he once said.

BabyBlue, the RAM is outstanding! The collaborative piece should be in here too.

I have seen your amazing drawing abilities. Great advice from WB re the onions & jigsaw. I am out of bandwidth at the moment but I will look at how you made it when I get it back. Time well worth spending on such a great piece.
