Very beautiful additions. Out of the 3, and I'll rank them accordingly, 1st is "Moody Red", I like how the wire patterns has the infinity feel. 2nd is the "Feather Star." Nice take on Sargon's rope tutorial and love the soft rainbow color. 3rd and finally is "Endless Circle." This image is all about simplicity and that's sometime a good thing.

Golly - I'm beginning to feel very idle/lazy/back-of-the-class with all of these beautiful additions you have made lately. The pastels in Feather Star are gorgeous - I just love those colours. Endless circle is fabulous too and I think the pastels, like in feather, would look great in that setting as well. Now Moody Red is my fave. It looks 3D and the gem appears recessed and down into the setting. It's very clever indeed. It draws one's eyes down into a hole. And, BTW, all the gold/metal in every piece is very well done. Great work!

Wow, wow & wow! Love the pastel colours in Feather Star. I like the simplicity of Endless Circle. And in Moody Red, I like the reversal of the wire pattern. I feel very non-productive too. I've been working on Celtic knots, drawing them by hand to get a feel for the patterns, then trying them with the computer. I've got a couple of very basic ones, not very exciting to look at, but I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around the more complicated ones. I don't know if this is going to go very far, I'm thinking it might be easier to just draw them and scan them if I want to do anything with them. I'm also getting closer to digging out my paper and pens and taking up residence at the drafting table. And when that happens, no one will ever see me again, because I'll be buried under a pile of paper.

Outstanding images Barbie ! I think they are all magnificent but of course I do have my favourite. And that would have to be - FeatherStar. I just think the gold is so incredible in this one and the colours so bright. In Endless Circle I love the intertwining rings and the colour of the jewel. MoodyRed comes third. But really they are all super. I think you are so talented .

Thanks everyone for the most encouraging comments. Sargon, I'd love it if you were on DA too! New images p.1 - one of them is NOT a jewel

Wowee! That's soooo cool! The detailed jewel (the green one) is absolutely stunning! Made my jaw drop, literally! The hearts are so beautiful. Love that rich red color!

Thank Helen & Blackpenny. I do like the art deco style & I have done a few more. Erte has come up on my radar too. Well worth the look; http://www.arthistoryguide.com/travel/travel43.aspxSorry for the huge update but it's been raining - a lot & this is my last day of holidays - if I can get to work at all.

You have been busy! All I want to do when it's raining is sleep. They're all wonderful, I especially like the contrast in the Blue WP. I love those colours together. The Evan's Seven link takes me to Photobucket login page. I took your advice and copied my gallery into a word processing document. Hopefully things will straighten out here, but it doesn't hurt to have a backup.

Blackpenny thanks for letting me know. The link should now work. I'm glad you like the Blue WP as I really wasn't sure about the orange with the blue & the glow. I discussed the fact that the sun had a drop shadow & such a big glow with hubby but he said he thought it worked.
Helen, yep, I did all those. Mind you some of them took weeks to finally complete. More & more I find I am letting some works sit for a while because I have no idea how to proceed.
Did anyone notice a difference between the Art Deco Plum & the Art Deco Plum wallpaper? I copied & pasted the original 3200 x 2400 into 2560 x 1536 (I cannot do 4 times original size, pc just crashes on the 3rd or so layer). I find that any size that is not a multiple of 800 x 600 makes the work less smooth, particularly in images where the lines are curved or diagonal (which we often have a problem with anyway since pixels are square.
When I do the gold on a wallpaper size the settings for the Fast Effects don't work & I have to play with them. I got sick of that & made it the usual size & then put the image into the WP size but I still find it doesn't look as good. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.
