Librarian
New art? Gasp!
"Ah Ha! My arch nemesis! The Evil re-shelving ninja! To long have you mocked the Dewy Decimal System by shelving your books in their wrong alphanumeric order instead of putting them on the labeled carts! But no more! Your days of terrorizing the Millbrook Memorial Library and its patrons are over! Prepare to have your library card revoked!"
I'm going to attempt to come out of lurk mode now, though we will see how that goes, at the very least I'll try to stop in and post three days a week. I don't know if I'll have time to comment on images posted while I was lurking, but I'll comment on new images when I can. (And if I missed an image that you were hoping for feedback on, PLEASE shoot me a PM and I'll be glad to go back and comment.)
Quick tutorial on how I did the tapered lines for this one I usualy worked with each color or part of line art on a separate layer, and I deleted the extra lines after I was done with that layer.
I might make a background for this one, but no promises. (I'm just about to start school again, so I may have tons of procrastination time on my hands) I've been working with two point perspective and have almost mastered it enough to make a finished piece.
I really had a lot of fun with this one, and it may end up on the UW Anime Club's fall recruitment posters. *crosses fingers*
Speaking of fingers, one of the hands I really like how it turned out, the other not so much. No points if you guess which is which...

Still playing with coloring, I think I'll try a hybrid of this and the gradient shading next.
