This is my first image and I have decided to enter it in the WOTW compitition on the main board.

Very good first images. I do see a couple of suggestions I would like to give you. In Speed, I would reduce the motion blur by using transparent gradients so they fade from bottom to the end of the rocket, I suppose. In Death's Jar, I would blur the shadow of the jar so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

I would like to say welcome brandon . Also in addition to what lance said on death's jar. Lower the highlight layer's opacity a bit so it isn't so bright. Also on the shadow blur like he said but adjust the layer opacity on it as well. I think you will find that will make the image pop a bit more.
