Background is good. But the text ought to be sharper, and maybe brighter. Bevel selection?

Love the background texture & colours.

Now this is an area that I so have at least a bit of expertise in.

The text is slipping off the card on 3 sides...

use lowercase for the email address, bring it down a bit & in a bit. A common misconception is the more space text takes up, the more impact. All capitals makes text hard to read & slows the reader down.

Same with the bullet points - move them over & use either Sentence case where only the first letter is capitalised with the exception of Paint.NET

You name needs to come into the image some more. I'd try white for the text or as Leif suggested, Bevel it.

All in all it is the basis for a really awesome card! As a signwriter's right-hand woman, I've seen some pretty ordinary works done both in business cards & signs. Your colours work well & the background deserves another mention. Well done!

Thank you all for the advice. the tutorials are exactly what i need. i will re attempt this and make it better. I only have one question and thats about the bevel. Is there a plug in for it or do i use the emboss tool to simulate the effect. Thanks in advance... ^ _ ^
