I have been trying to add an avatar from my Picasa web albums to use with my posts but when I paste the URL in I am told it is not valid. I noticed in the tutorial on the official forums on this subject only mentions Imageshack or Photobucket. Does this mean that Picasa is not supported?

I'm not sure, but picasa never handles my avatar correctly.
Try photobucket and such.

It worked. Thanks Ash.I used Imageshack and that did the trick. Thought I had got rid of the white background though.
