This is a gemstone I'm allowed to use from another digital scrapper. She uses that "other" graphics program that costs an arm & a leg. :) I've been trying like crazy to get a close duplicate in PDN. I see kaleidoscope and tiles, but what else? Anyone have any ideas?

I see light rays, and glass tiles. All the plugins we have from the main board could pull off this trick. Main thing is to experiment.

Nice gems ash and sargon. I'll keep experimenting. The "light rays" come from layer blending modes I think. I blend them with difference and use curves to get a different look.

I just used the long way to do that, no special tutorial used, see my video for doing that:

@Sargon: WOW!!! Great video. Now I have to ask you, what software program did you use to make the video?

Thanks, for this video I used the Debut Video Capture Software, it is from NCH Software, you can find it here, and there is 3 versions I have downloaded the free one and it is not bad:

The only problem it has, ( or may be I am not using it in the right way) is that it showing itself when you are capturing the screen, so you have to use it in a tricky way to hide it in your video.

EDIT/ I don't know if it is allowed to post a link here, check your PM.

Thanks. I'll definitely check it out. Your video is now on my computer and I will be checking it out. I know that the technique you demonstrated there will be very useful for me .
