That's pretty good, actually...the one in the PDN fanatics logo has one additional larger highlight with a lower opacity (look close, and you'll see it). Background was added white noise plus zoom blur deluxe on top of some random lines with radial blur applied.

This is my first decent shot at a glassy marble. I basically followed the tut with just a different colour. Although it does not say to use it in the tut I found that the best way to get the `glass' look on the large oval on the fifth layer was to use overlay as the blending mode.
I just could not get that glassy look otherwise.

I spent many hours with this tutorial. But I learned a lot. It's still not as marblely as the one shown in the tutorial, but it doesn't look like an alien planet (like my previous attempts) either.
