If I must start over I am prepared. I made a ball and I made a wood floor. My problem,When I put the ball on the floor the ball is transparent...arggg.. I have tried to fix it but the ball looses its color. Any comments appreciated.

Martel,
I notice that the bowling ball is oval rather than round.
So, just a reminder - using the Elliptical Selection tool with the Shift key held down gives a selection that's circular.
Also, when resizing an object using the Move Selected Pixels tool on a selection, again hold down the Shift key, use a corner adjusting node.

Sarkut,Thanks for that I was wondering how to get that ball rounded out again. .I think I messed it up while moving it (without the shift key) Both of those reminders are great bc I did not realize either of them. Thanks Still trying to continue the alley down.

Martel try the perspective plugin to make the wood angle like you want. Also the shadow infront of the ball is out of place and it is too grey.

The technique I use to tilt for that 3D look is one of 2: a.) Use Layer Rotate/ Zoom with the tiling option checked b.) Bring the 2 top ends in slightly using Octagonal/ Quad reshape/ matte plug-in and then use Rotate/ Zoom without the tiling option checked Starting texture
