Oh dear, sorry  I didn't know that. Will this also be what I need to do when I'm ready to begin a small gallery in the "I made this" area? I've been meaning to ask how one does that.

Edit: I've changed the 3D Rooms now to Photobucket.

That would be a good idea. If you use a hosting site like ImageShack you don't use space (bandwidth) on the forum. And if you register on ImageShack you have the possibility to change and delete your pictures at will. I don't know how it is here, but i know of forums where you have to ask a mod to do that.

Thanks for that tip Leif. I guess the same applies to Photobucket?

Yes it`s the same for Photobucket. I notice that Lance has put up a handy tutorial on how to link to Photobucket. :D

Pixey wrote:Just two areas where I had trouble.

1. I was not sure which section of "ceiling/floor" to cut out for a see-through door/window.
2. I could not figure out how to find the correct setting for "Rotate Axis-2" in order to 'twist' the room.

Edited: photos now on Photobucket.

Thank you very much, and very nice rooms.
And to answer your 2 questions:

1-Select the window, then switch to ceiling/floor layer and hit delete. Download the Zip file to see all the layers of the pdn file, they are 2 files one before S3D and other after, you will see the cutout window clearly and what I am talking about.

2-Axis-2 in the S3D plugin under Object Rotation, I usually set Axis-1 for "X" rotation, Axis-2 for "Y" rotation and Axis-3 for "Z" rotation, because I rotate my objects around all axises, but in this case you can use only Axis-1 after checking "Y" and rotate all the layers, it is a little confusing, try to download the XML files below, it is 2 XML codes, one for 0,0,0 angles and other for 0,15,0 for x,y,z axis respectively, un-zip them and load them on S3D and see the difference between the two.

The Blue Room
I promised to try this one out & I have.

Well written & easy to follow, Sargon. Thank you for your kindness in writing this for us.

EDIT: Furniture is stock by Gild-a_stock on DA.

Outstanding! Beautiful furniture Bbq. If there is one thing I could pick on it is the lack of some sort of lighting which makes the room look a bit dark. I think a chandelier would look smashing.
Apart from that small thing it`s fantastic. :wink2:

Goonie the furniture is stock by Gild-a-Stock on DA. I thought I had put that in. Must have been on DA. Darn, I'll have to edit the post.

Lights are on the walls but I guess they should be a bit brighter. I have been working on an Art Deco ceiling light but not happy with the outcome so I am going to scrap it.

Chandelier - hmmm, will have to think on that. I think I'll be giving this one another go at some stage.
