Great tutorial. Easy but so adaptable. :)
I like the pdf idea for tuts. I`m getting a nice little collection together now. I suppose this way you don`t have to worry about the size of the images .
Here`s my first go at this one -

Forgot to add the reflection of the smilie under the `M'. Never mind eh? :wink2:

Great image! Love the smilies hiding in the text. Brilliant idea. On my pc it looks a bit jaggy on the M & the X. Very cute!

Trying to one up me, Sargon, huh? *evil eye*

Nah, that's a pretty cool method. That probably gives better control than using Metallize. I think we ought to make a community tutorial with glass, what do you think, Sargon?

Thanks every one.
:D Goonfella very nice image , whenever I see it I smile :) I don't know why, I think because of those smilies you just put them in their right locations.

Very nice work Chad, I like the effect, I will post a mini tut on how to make the bubbles and water drops, :idea2: don't forget the Invert Selection step.

@Lance, OK I already started, I posted another new tut on WaterDrop, it is more on water effect then glass effect, but I don't see that big difference between them, what do you think?

@ Lance, thank you, you want the truth? I don't have any specific technique for galss, I just play around with Clouds, Dents, Alpha Displacement and blend mode, blend mode, blend mode....., till I satisfied :)
@ Chad , that is nice just make the base a little bigger.
See here water dew effect, I used exactly same method of this tutorial on Random white circles instead of text :) :

Will someone be kind enough to tell me where I can find the "Alpha Displacement" plug-in please. I assume that it must be in one of the plug-in packs on the Get-Paint forum, but I don't know which one and Paint.net seems to slow down if you install too many plug-ins that you don't need.
