In this thread, I will add all of my WIPs to keep my gallery clean.

As some may (or may not) have seen, I had been working on making a 3D face as seen below.

I got to tell you this. I love the Field Height to Normal Map plug-in. It makes it some what realistic when this plug-in is ran.

To do: I need to finish up the tear ducts, add eyelashes back, work on hair, and eventually, I would like to work on the neck and upper shoulders. There's going to be a "big picture" in the end.

I would appreciate any comments/feedback to help me along.

It is going to be interesting to follow your work.
The eyes are very important. You've got the color and pattern right. But the little white dot confuses me. It is great to make the impression of a reflection of a light source. But then it is in the wrong side in ONE of the eyes. ;-)

Hmm, looking good. :D I don't know if you are planning on adding any hair to him or not, but as it stands the eyes are vary high on the face. In real life they are almost exactly half way between the chin and top the the skull.

No matter how hard I tired, I would eventually give up on this daunting task of making a face. Looks good so far, Lance.

I know I'm not McKnight...but I'm still the same artist...LOL!

Anyway, been making this picture, and it was loosely based on this PS tutorial, but I decided to make my own flair to it. I think the background needs to be redone. I wanted to post it up and see if I can't get some good critiquing to help this out.

I`ve seen this tut and have often thought about doing it but never have. I think you`ve done a great job there Lance. I think maybe the lightning flashes are a little too blurred though. Also the greeny blue circle and the the logo itself could be a bit smaller( not as small as in the tut though) with a bit more glow.
Not much else wrong that I can see.

Looks pretty good but would like to see more glow on the blue. The lightning is a great addition. If it is on its own layer you could do a bit of drop shadow to give it a slight bluish glow.

I have actually stopped working on this piece for a long time. I may revisit it again, but I do have an idea of what I want to do with this piece.
