PDN Fanatics

OK, I have copied both the Paint.NET 3.36 and Paint.NET 3.5.5 "Program Files" files to my flash drive. I have uninstalled Paint.NET on both of my computers. On one, I will call PC 1, Paint.NET 3.36 and 3.5.5 work perfectly starting up almost instantly. But on the other, PC 2, Paint.NET 3.36 works but when I try to open 3.5.5 I get the following error message:



I don't exactly know what Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable is so that's why I thought I would ask you guys here. I hope that you can figure out what it is. I just think it's weird that one of the computers works fine while the other one doesn't considering they both have had 3.5.5 on them.

Any help would be appreciated,

Paint.NET 3.36 is the last version considered portable, as is.

The fact that 3.5.5 works on one of your PCs is perhaps the result of necessary
registry entries, etc. remaining after a less than complete uninstallation.

Portable v3.5.5 is available as part of the LiberKey package.

Thanks for the link to LiberKey. I downloaded the 3.5.5 version from there and it works fine now.
