I guess this forum would still benefit from a plug in tutorial though Lance if you`ve started one. As this is a PDN forum it`s seems logical to have one really . :wink2:

All right, I will have to whip one up. That mean re-downloading Cam Studio again, but it's a good thing I'm already registered at YouTube, so that'll help.

I have the minibrushes installed but got no darn idea how to use it or add more. So not thinking only of myslef, but there may be others (possible future pdners) who would benefit from the tute. Also may inspire others to use the plugin more or more effectively.

Sokagirl, that is very pretty! So glad you didn't give up. Never, never give up! You can do it. There are just bits of info missing. Well done. Sarkut is a sweetie too.

http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopi ... 38&t=27088 open your Custom brush mini in the effects > tools menu that's where your brushes should be on the right side there it should be :D I think at the top it says add brushes , I haven't added any more . Thanks to you and Lance for encouraging me not to give up :wink2:

They are loaded in PDN as far as I know. Don't know what to do with the abrviewer but I'll take a look at the link. Thank you. I did download more brushes. Says something about .abr file? I'm sure I'll get it sorted with all of you helping.

As far as i remember, the brushes is just plain image files. So you can easily make them yourself, if you want to.

This is what I do , after I finally got the abrviewer situated . I downloaded some brushes that were zip files and extracted them to my custom brushes folder , then opened my abrviewer and clicked file open brush set then export thumbnails into custom brushes , then go open pdn and in the tools effect menu there should be your custom brush mini with all your brushes :razz2: hope this helps you ?

You are correct on assuming that the brushes are just png files.

Also abr viewer is a pretty simple to use program. There is actually a tut on the main forum on how to use it. I will have to go search for it but i will post a link later.
