Very, very cool.
Love the sky meeting the sea.
Great job on the cliffs ( edges a lil' bit too sharp ?)

Reminds me a lot of AFG's work.

Awesome work

@ HELEN: Thank you :D Actually I had in my right mind to make an abstract piece from the clouds I had made when I flipped it horizontally. Then this quote came to mind:
Forrest Gump wrote:... like that mountain lake. It was so clear, Jenny, it looked like there were two skies one on top of the other.

@ Leif: Thank you :razz2: Don't know why I started with these water works. Actually I'm joining the navy in a few weeks time so maybe it's my subconscious mind preparing me or something.

@ Goonfella: Thank you. Even if we ever were to discover all the wonders this world has to offer we still have the endless universe to explore :razz2:

@ barbieq25: :) :lol3: Thank you :wink2:

@ ~WelshBlue~: Thank you, being compared to A.F.G. is a great compliment :) I agree that something about the cliff isn't quite blended in, I'll see if I can work on those edges.

Been working with some textures, one leather the other a stone type thingy:

(For your viewing - or my posting - pleasure: a weird combination of the two)

I tried them out on a piece on page one if you're interested :wink2:

The book texture is lovely and I like how you did the ground rocky texture as well. For some reason, both textures remind me of crispy chocolate. Yum!

The book is simple, yet very effective. Great work.

Thanks Leif :)

Long time no post. Haven't had much time for PDN lately, but there's a little something on page 1.
(yes it's another sea-picture... :razz2: )

Very powerful mood picture. It really dose fit the text. ( be careful what you write, i do understand a bit Norwegian ;-) ) The fog is what really makes it for me. Great idea to keep it strictly black and white.

Definitely, definitely a delightful image. I love the water reflection and the soft ripples are gorgeous. :shock2:

Beautifully done! There is something wonderful about the ocean at night. I have always loved it. I used to work on my father's fishing boat when we did that for a while instead of painting & I loved the night-time at sea.

The gentle waves & the reflection on the water are spot on. The moon & the clouds are so real. Fantastic work!

Inspired by taking the boat home and Norwegian metal ?

.... Not tempted to jump overboard I hope :lol3: :lol3: :razz2: (joke)

This piece is photograph captured quality.
Everything is so well made, awesome textures all round, and what captured my eye the most was the way the clouds overlap the moon.
You've given that real 'depth' mate

stunning photograph image
