The process works as follows: Say Goon likes one of Oma's images, Goon would post the image in the nominations thread (This thread), then Chad, who also likes the image, would second the nomination. Finally WelshBlue, who also likes the image, would also second the nomination. Welsh, being the third person to support the nomination (counting the person who first nominated it), would then add the image to the "Peoples' Choice Awards" thread along with a link to Oma's Gallery. RULES:Images in the galleria should both demonstrate exceptional artistic merit, and showcase the versatility of the Paint.NET program. A nominated image should do more than demonstrate a novel technique, but should show practical applications. Any image which uses stock, or outside images MUST properly cite its sources to be eligible. Images which are plagiarized, or infringe on copyright, are NOT eligible.
The Management reserves the right to veto any image at any time if we feel it does not meet the requirements above.
Anyone can have an image of theirs nominated, but as of 1/1/2010 only those who have reached 100 posts can nominate or second images. The rationale behind this is users should be established in the community before being given power (however limited) over that community.
It is possible for a person to rescind their support for an image before the image is inducted into the Peoples' Choice Awards thread, but not after. How to add images: In case it is not clear: Only images which have received a nomination and two seconds are to be added to the "Peoples' Choice Awards" thread, and then only the second person to second the image is to add it.The person responsible for adding the image should use the following template: - Code: Select all
[rightsize]IMAGE_URL_HERE[/rightsize] ARTISTS_NAME_HERE
And with that, the Galleria is open for you to start nominating images! Have at it!

I'd like to point out that there can be more than one image nominated and awaiting seconds at one time. You can even second an image in the same post as you nominate a new one.

I have nominated two works and although not necessary i will give my reasons for doing so Sargon's Passion Flower : this shows what can be achieved with S3D, it included perfect use of the chain link fence tut by Sargon and from an artistic view point , the harshness of the sun scorched grass and steel fence against the beauty and delicacy of the passion flower made for a wonderful piece of art. Helen's Baby Face : simply an outstanding piece of art pdn or other wise
