On the main Forums I was asked how I got the discs for this :

A quick tut if anyone is interested ...

If you've centred your object, running Radial Blur on the default settings will smooth the edges. This is a play around tut' ... as in play around and try different blend modes etc as the results vary.

Some I played around with:

As I say, these are all play arounds ... I remember there's some Condition Hue/ Saturation in the coloured one.
The shiney one, I made the circles ... duplicated the layer ... set blend mode to Negation ... then used Darken from the Adjustments menu on the layer below to get the bright silverish look.

Ok folks, my 1st mini - tut any problems and I'll make the changes when I've time.

Enjoy ... and remember to think outside of the box

This would be a great way of creating the effect of spinning hubcaps on wheels. :D

That's essentially what I did here. In the source pic the wheels were not spinning.

Have a nice day,

Thanks Ash. You're right
Is why I like to post my WIPs so people can suggest things before the final edit :D

Oooo! How lovely that I just discovered this great little tute Welshy. It's just what I need for a project I'm making and will come in very useful for a couple of my shapes. Thanks so much :P
