Was that 160 height by 120 width? If so, I've changed it.

I'm not sure if it's just my end but since the upgrade the PDN Fans page takes an age to load or times out (done an experiment and every other site is quick) and when I do manage to get on, if I post a message I get an error message at the top of the page and all the text goes huge ... weird

I have not gotten any error messages, and I've not had any more trouble than usual getting on the forums. If anyone gets an error message again, could you copy or screenshot it and send it to drakaan? (If you haven't done so already)

I`ve not had any error messages as such, I would certainly copy it to show you if I did. It`s just sometimes these forums are slow to load(maybe its updating the posts at the time I don`t know) and also the text can increase in size when you submit a post. It doesn`t happen all the time though so it`s hard to pin down what`s causing it.

I've seen it pause loading google adsense stuff in the background (watch the status bar when it's loading)...

The error message I keep seeing is something about failure for php to merge array argument #1. Weirdest thing I have ever seen. The next time I see it, I'll screen capture it, and post it here.

I like the upgrade and I especially like the dark & red skin. But then again, I like dark skins more than light one's.
I too noticed a bit of a lag when editing my profile and such, but at other times, everything loads quite quickly, but no errors whatsoever on my end.
Concerning smilies, I wouldn't worry too much. Basically all boards, whether free or paid come with some smilies that are not very well rendered. They're usually not very visible with skins with white bg's. The dark skins are the one's who have to endure these bad rendered smilies. I've seen smilies from many different types of Message Boards, from phpBB, IPB, iPBFree, vBulletin, etc and they all have some smilies like that. I myself own a paid IP.Board and I designed the skin it uses, but I still hate that many of the smilies have that nasty white area around them. Since I wasn't going to change my skin design to accommodate them, I have to put up with it. It's not so bad after a while and members don't seem to really care about that.
So which paid board are you deciding on purchasing Ben? These same phpBB?

I just use the normal-ish prosilver skin. Personally, I think it feels quicker. No errors, at least on my end.
