Any ideas how this was done?

Not 100% sure, but if they wanted to take the time, they could fill the lighter with water and just pour it out while taking a picture. After that they would just flip the image. Not likely, but possible.

No time, but if you check out my thread, you will see water droplet is something I can do now

i know exactly how it was done its what people call a photomontage mainly created in photoshop cs3 but can be done in pdn, the water is actually a picture of what a water baloon looks like once popped in suspension, then simply get a picture of a lighter and play with layers after you have made the original water baloon picture jsut the awter (just delete the bits you dont want). The water drops on the lighter are made in pdn though (there is a tutorial for this somewhere on the forums). Hope i helped .

Oh jeeze thats twice sorry guys...rather than the official forums i had to side scroll on these for some reason so i cant see the date. Ill make sure i do in the future..what a plum
