If it could be anything (and I mean anything), what would you like to see?
Just a plain old bulletin board? Real artist galleries? Pong? What's that one thing you always wished was there, but isn't?
For the moment, this isn't going to lead to anything, but someday, I'll have free time and money to throw away on real hosting, so chime in and let me know what you wish for!

I honestly like it just the way it is. Minus the "Arcade" which will draw all of us away from our artwork. But seriously, the reason I love this place, and hate the official PDN forums, is that this place is so simple! The forums aren't over-complex, the competition is good, and the community is small enough that everyone knows everyone else. The only thing that could make this place better would be a better gallery setup. Instead of threads for each user, it would be more like dA. Have a nice day, ~Sidneys1

How about a `Hide' option as in the other forum? This would help speed up loading times.

That's fine, GF, but that's more of a customer service request. I'm talking about earth-shattering change, basically. Complete differentness. Stuff that's not available here or on the official forums (or any phpbb site).

Three dimensional virtual reality navigation, like the holodeck on the Enterprise. Though, seriously, having a better gallery system is on of the biggies. deviantArt has some good things going, so we could use their system as a starting point, but I think we could improve it. One of the main problems with dA is that it is very large, very... mass produced and impersonal. If we can some way fuse dA's convenient system, with the "small town" feel the forum currently has, I think we would be doing well.

What, specifically, about DA's system do you like?

What I like about dA's feature is the "rating" system...from 1 to 7, where 1 being the lowest to 7 to being "WOW!" If we incorporate that, I think that will encourage every users to post feedback, like a discussion board you mentioned in another thread, and that will utilize positive, yet constructive criticism. I would like to see that being used instead of everyone going... or Ben's favorite:
